"I realized that although I walk three miles every
day, I was not getting any upper-body strength. Additionally,
I was concerned because each year my bone density test
revealed that I had lost bone density from the previous
year. I had read on several occasions that it is necessary
to have a complete bodybuiding program to have total bone
and body health.
In June 2001, at age 61, I contacted Paradigm Fitness
to discuss my needs and began meeting with their trainer
twice a week. It was important to me to have instruction
in the training I needed and guidance to make certain
that each movement was being done properly. Too many times
I had heard of a person beginning a program without knowing
the proper technique and ultimately getting hurt ... sometimes
permanently. Paradigm Fitness instructors always give
me instructions on doing an exercise and then if I am
not doing it correctly, they advise me what adjustments
need to be made. They will not let any exercise be performed
incorrectly.
I am so excited about the strength and toning that I have
acheived! Furthermore, after working with Paradigm for
six months, my last bone density test showed an increase
of 2% when normally a person my age loses 2% every year.
Technically, this means that my bone density increased
by 4%! I attribute the major portion of that achievement
to the training I have done. I know that having strong
bones is important in maintaining an active life. Furthermore,
I have arthritis and this program is helping me to reduce,
if not eliminate, the possibility of the disks in my spine
fusing.
It's wonderful to have people who want to help and make
sure that I exercise properly, but in addition the professionals
at Paradigm are truly cordial, personal, and terrific
people."

Paul came to Paradigm wanting to shed 20+ pounds and improve
his diet to develop more energy and safely take on more
sports and outdoor activities with his kids. In less than
a year, he's shed more than 20 pounds of body fat, added
10 pounds of lean body mass and says he can "...see more
of my children while skiing. Now I can see them over my
shoulder. I'd gotten tired of just seeing their backs!"

"When I first signed up with Paradigm Fitness, I
was very skeptical of the entire program. I was from the
old school when it came to training and I thought you
needed to spend two hours a day, five days a week lifting
weights in order to achieve results.
Dan Polimino and Paradigm Fitness showed me that more
is not always better. I found that I could increase my
muscle mass and lose weight in 60 minutes or less, just
three days a week. I also knew I had to do something about
my diet. I did not know exactly how to structure a nutrition
program. Once again, Paradigm Fitness had a plan that
taught me how to eat right for the rest of my life. Overall
I would say the program definitely works, and I enjoy
it. I am getting results!"

"I was interested in a personal trainer for several
reasons. First, my mother has osteoporosis and I wanted
to do everything I could to keep my bones strong and flexible.
Weight-bearing exercises are one of the best ways to combat
osteoporosis.
I have always been a runner and have stayed very lean,
but I wanted to add some muscle to fill out my arms and
legs. Paradigm's program has helped me achieve these goals.
I have gained an amazing amount of strength. I have added
muscle to all areas of my body and feel like my overall
health has improved.
Lastly, since I was thin, Dan Polimino's recommendation
was that I eat more. Not to pig out, but Dan taught me
about eating the right foods in the right amounts. I would
recommend Paradigm Fitness to anyone who is thinking about
a physique transformation."

"I used to think it couldn't be done, I had tried
other programs, lost weight and put it right back on.
It was easier to sit down after work with a bag of Doritos
and a Coke than work out. Then I met Dan and Jennifer,
and Dan convinced me that it could be done. All I had
to do was decide to start and commit to it.
After three months with Paradigm Fitness, I had lost 30
pounds, had new energy, felt great, and went from tight
34" pants to loose-fitting 31's. I'm glad I made
the decision to just START. Thank you Paradigm Fitness!"

"Life. Certainly challenging. The "twists and turns"
are absolutely unfathomable. So, on my 60th birthday I
committed my self to "life." I'm not exactly sure what
"life" is, or means. But I knew that after open heart
surgery at age 56, that diet and exercise certainly has
something to do with the process we call "life."
Little did I know how wonderful you would turn out to be. Your husband, Dan, was as "accurate as rain"
when he told me that "you are the best!" You are absolutely the best!
My bride, Marilyn, dear daughter Michelle and I were in the kitchen tonight. The "girls" were preparing a healthy version of veal picatta. I was in the kitchen, cheering them on. Out of nowhere, Shelly began poking at my body. "Daddy" she said " your tummy is hard!" And it was all downhill [ :) ] from there as Marilyn and Michelle continued to "poke" pointing out the improvements that you have crafted.
Fifteen weeks--15 pounds. Truly an amazing accomplishment. Thank you very much! I look better. I feel better. All thanks to your knowledge, skill, and dedication to your craft. And I feel, and know, that you care about me. A critical part of our relationship!
We have a long way to go. I'll be there. But the final
two minutes today on the "machine from hell"
had me breathing challenged! Good work, Paradigm!
Thirty-seven weeks and 37 pounds to go..."
